PatternMaker Basic Reader
PatternMaker Basic Reader is our freeware pattern-printing utility. It is included with each pattern set you buy.
Features:
- View PatternMaker files,
- Run pattern macros from Garment Collections to create custom-fit patterns Demonstration (571 KB--requires Flash plug-in)
- Arrange the pieces for printing
- Print to any Windows-driven printer
- If your pattern requires more than one page, PatternMaker Reader automatically splits up the pattern and prints alignment marks for assembling the pages (see assembling pages)
- Includes Free Trouser Pattern
- Includes Free Fitting Bodice (women's)
- Includes Free Collar Patterns
PatternMaker Basic Reader does not include the CAD features (drawing/editing capabilities) of the complete program versions. If you want to make changes or add to your patterns once they're created, you must have the Deluxe Editor or higher versions of PatternMaker. If you already have the Deluxe Editor or higher version, you don't need to install the Basic program.
Whether you install from the web or from the CD, your program will automatically install as the Basic Reader. You don't need to register the program unless you want to purchase (or have purchased) the Deluxe Editor or Home Studio, or if you would like to use the trial software.
