Registration
Basic Reader and LaunchPad Garment collections
No registration is required to use the free Basic Reader. Simply download and install.
When you purchase the stand alone LaunchPad version of the garment collections, you will receive a password. The installation program will prompt you to enter the password. You can use this same password to upgrade to newer versions of the garment collections.
Demonstration versions of Deluxe Editor, Studio versions, and Macro Generator 4.
E-mail PatternMaker Software at support@patternmakerusa.com to receive a serial number for a free 30 day trial of the software. Please indicate in the e-mail which version you would like to try. You will receive an e-mail with a trial serial number. When you install the software it will function as the Basic Reader. In order to access the program features, you must register.
To register:
- Install the program.
- From the menu at the top of the screen, for PatternMaker programs go to Settings > Register and follow the directions below. For Macro Generator go to Help > Register and follow the directions below.
Note: Currently, our online registration is not working properly. Please e-mail your ID string to us so that we can register you manually.

When you purchase the Deluxe Editor or a Studio product:
When you download and install the software, it will function as the Basic Reader. In order to access the editing and CAD functions, you must register the software.
- When you purchase the software, you will receive a serial number.
- Download and install the software.
- Open the program (you can double click on the PatternMaker icon).
- Go to Settings > Register.
- Enter the serial number in the box and click the "Store Data" button
- Copy and paste the ID string into an e-mail to support@patternmakerusa.com
- An unlock code will be e-mailed to you. Copy and paste it into the Unlock Code box.
Note:
Although you are welcome to contact us by phone
for this process, we encourage contact by e-mail, in order to reduce the
chance of error. Simply copy and paste the ID String (using <CTRL>+C
and <CTRL>+V) from the Registration box into your e-mail message.
