Deluxe Editor

PatternMaker Deluxe Editor is a modified CAD (computer-aided design) tool for the hobby sewer.

With the editing tools in the Deluxe Editor you can make changes to the pre-designed garments created by the add-in patterns. It comes with one garment collection, Women’s Vol. 1, and others are available separately.

Features

The Deluxe Editor includes all the pattern viewing and printing features of the Basic Reader, and adds:

• Use the add-in patterns as they are or make minor modifications
• Save personal measurement tables
• Drag objects and points with the mouse or enter typed X-Y coordinates for more precision
• Add new points to an object
• Delete, move, and rotate individual points
• Divide a line into segments (add evenly-spaced points)
• Cut and join pieces or line segments
• Move, rotate, and erase pieces
• Manipulate pieces with Mirror, Reflect, and Flip commands
• Resize or scale individual pieces or the entire drawing
• Change an angle to a curve and a curve to an angle
• Measure point-to-point in a straight line
• Draw straight lines
• Draw fixed-width or variable-width seam allowances around pattern pieces
• Merge one saved pattern into another (combine parts from different patterns)
• Show, hide, and lock individual layers
